On the day of the cleanup

    1. Meeting Up

    Volunteers will meet up at the JACCC Plaza by 9:00 a.m. to get into assigned work groups and to pick up cleaning supplies.

    2. Cleaning Up

    A work group leader will lead volunteers to a designated area in Little Tokyo to clean.

FAQs

  • Yes, please bring your own water in a reusable bottle, a hat, gloves, and comfortable walking shoes. Cleaning tools will be provided.

  • YES! Even if you have missed the registration deadline, we encourage you to come since you will still be able to register on the day of the event at the meeting site.

  • Each individual will be assigned to a work group and will be cleaning a sidewalk area spanning one block.

    Those cleaning areas are:

    - South of Temple St. and north of 3rd Street

    - West of Vignes St. and east of San Pedro Street

  • The event is set between 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. However, with lunch and the raffle, the event typically runs until 2:00 p.m.
